WORKING TOGETHER: TO BRING GOOD NEWS + GOOD WORKS TO THE WORLD
HOPE HOUSE HAITI
What is the challenge?
Children in Haiti are facing many challenges. There is widespread poverty and hunger, meaning many children are living without sufficient food, clothing and shelter. Healthcare facilities, if they are nearby, are often inadequate, underfunded, and inaccessible, a large range of common diseases means this causes quite a problem. Around our partners, local risks have made it difficult for places of help to stay open, and hospitals have closed because of the surrounding violence. We (Mark & Natalie) have been to Haiti and seen the desperation first hand.
What can you do to help?
Our partners run Hope House Haiti, a school where most of the children that attend live in desperate poverty. This is a special place, a site we have personally visited. They are the only free school in Haiti, and despite local risks, the school has remained open. Orphans are taken in and at least 100 children are fed breakfast daily to ensure they can thrive and do well in school. They are transforming lives by ensuring healthy meals and to give these children a good start in life. We are raising $10,000 to be able to provide breakfast five days a week for these precious 100 children, for a whole year.

“Nothing is well done without prayer for the simple fact it leaves God out of the account.”
— E.M. Bounds
Our sincere belief is that prayerful dependence on God is the source of strategy for Kingdom advancement. We recognize that His thoughts and ways are higher. We prioritize personal and corporate prayer to seek God for direction, assignment, and open doors to do His will.
