WORKING TOGETHER TO BRING GOOD NEWS AND GOOD WORKS TO THE WORLD
CURRENT PROJECT
Refugee Support - Greece
Despite the years that there has been a crisis, many refugee children live in informal camps or derelict buildings, where they are not able to complete primary education, and cannot even register with the local authorities on account of not having any utility bills (as they are not connected to the Power Grid). Refugee children are left marginalized, excluded and without opportunity. CRY along with The Collaborative Project are proud to support a centre in Athens that meets the immediate needs of these vulnerable communities.
The Distribution Centre has a clothes, food, and medical supplies store that can be distributed to the refugees. It provides education for refugee children, spaces for prayer, ministry and emotional support to the children and families that have been displaced. The centre also provides support for families, running kids clubs to provide a safe place for children to play while their parents register for camps, look for employment, or simply have time to address the emotional strain of their situation. We would be so grateful for your support of this project.
About Us
We’re Mark and Natalie Kresge, founders of The Collaborative Project. We have been married since 2011 and have two children, Jude and Ivy. We are passionate about building healthy families, discipleship, generosity, prayer, old timey movies and sushi.
In early 2020, God awakened a dream within us to see revival in Europe. Although we have always loved the nations of the world, God has birthed a passion in our hearts to see communities in Europe saturated with the love and power of God. We have given our yes to the Great Commission to Go (Matthew 28), the Great Commandment to Love (Matthew 22), and the Great Collaboration to Unify for God’s glory (John 17).
“Nothing is well done without prayer for the simple fact it leaves God out of the account.”
— E.M. Bounds
Our sincere belief is that prayerful dependence on God is the source of strategy for Kingdom advancement. We recognize that His thoughts and ways are higher. We prioritize personal and corporate prayer to seek God for direction, assignment, and open doors to do His will.
