WORKING TOGETHER TO BRING GOOD NEWS AND GOOD WORKS TO THE WORLD

CURRENT PROJECT

Congo Feeding Program

What are the challenges?

The Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) has been facing several crisis, including political instability, armed conflict, and humanitarian challenges. The ongoing conflict and insecurity have led to a severe humanitarian crisis in the DRC. Millions of people are internally displaced, and many more are in need of humanitarian assistance, including food, clean water, and healthcare. The situation is exacerbated by outbreaks of diseases like cholera, measles, and Ebola.

What are our partners doing?

Through our partners (Care & Relief for the Young), we are collaborating with a local school in Goma, North Kivu - situated at the epicentre of the crisis. Together, we are providing meals 4 times a week, for 80 internally displaced orphans living in one of the informal settlements. Many of the children we work with would faint during their lessons due to hunger.

What can you do?

Both prayer and finance will go a long way to supporting this project and the children they are able to help. If you would like to give a donation, click the donate button below.

About Us

We’re Mark and Natalie Kresge, founders of The Collaborative Project. We have been married since 2011 and have two children, Jude and Ivy. We are passionate about building healthy families, discipleship, generosity, prayer, old timey movies and sushi.

In early 2020, God awakened a dream within us to see revival in Europe. Although we have always loved the nations of the world, God has birthed a passion in our hearts to see communities in Europe saturated with the love and power of God. We have given our yes to the Great Commission to Go (Matthew 28), the Great Commandment to Love (Matthew 22), and the Great Collaboration to Unify for God’s glory (John 17).

“Nothing is well done without prayer for the simple fact it leaves God out of the account.”

— E.M. Bounds

Our sincere belief is that prayerful dependence on God is the source of strategy for Kingdom advancement. We recognize that His thoughts and ways are higher. We prioritize personal and corporate prayer to seek God for direction, assignment, and open doors to do His will.
